I did the trap-door and never even got close to the tank or lines. There is quite a bit of clearance between the sheetmetal of the body and the tank. Many have done it successfully without any issues, but...

The mere fact that you mentioned using an angle grinder instead of a cut-off wheel or dremel tool means you should pay a professional to do it ;)

i dont let anyone but me touch my car. i've got a pretty good head about my shoulders when it comes to this stuff.



i thought the grinder would add to the effect.

has nothing to do with with power, do them, you'll enjoy your car much more.
