Story time...

So Andrew (TurboV6Camaro) and I were going to clean out the shed in his back yard last weekend. He goes to open the door and says "Someone's trash stinks!" I didnt smell anything. As soon as he opened the door I walked into the shed and about threw up from a VERY strong, rotten stench inside the shed (I literally almost puked). We both flew back and and looked at each other like "WTF?!"

So we put our shirt collars over our noses to shield the stench as much as possible and started taking things out of the shed. I picked up a box and under it was disgusting, dead, rotting possum It looked just like the one in the first post, barring teeth and everything. It was covered in maggots and ooze.

It must have crawled in there Wednesday night when we were working on his car then we shut it and locked it in. It was there from Wednesday to Saturday and it was 90+ degrees and very humid every day so it smelled AWFUL!!!! We put it in a trash bag the threw it in a dumpster behind some buildings.

I just thought I'd share :)

ok this was a story my driving instructor told us back in drivers ed. (and yes, i still remeber because i thought i was hilarious)

he was new to the area and hadn't ever seen a opossum before and when he was driving at night he hit one, and thought it was a cat and starts freaking out.
so he gets out and sees it laying off the side of the road (playing possum/dead for those of you who don't know that they do that) so he walks over to it.. and it jumps up teeth bearing and all and hes so surprised/scared he falls backwards into the ditch... and then he got up and its like hissing at him still and hes pissed off, so he punts it across the road and it lays there again... he gets in his car, turns it on, drives over it, reverses, drives over it, reverses, and drives over it and drives off saying "thats right! F***ing demon cat!"
the next day somebody told him what it was, and how they play possum (dead)

You think that's bad? A few years back an opossum got under our house and managed to chew a hole in the heat ducts underneath the house, got in and died. Probably because it was warm in there. You can just imagine that same smell being pumped through the entire house through the heat ducts. The fact that it was heated up was even better.
