What are the options? Just bend over and take it like the rest of the country, we're just now starting to feel the pain the rest of the world has felt for years.
People always say this, you cant compare the rest of the world to us unless you do it properly...People in different parts of the world make more money or dont need to pay for school.
an example in italy university is free...plus I believe that there average income is higher then ours....
look at it like this....you can say that something like $5/litre (exageration) in europe is ok if everyone makes an average of around 60-70g's a year....and at the same time say that $1.30/litre is expensive for a nation that makes an average income of 40,000 a year....
follow what I am saying?
everything needs to be relative....in a 3rd world country most of us would be rich or well off if we were making the money we are over there....

There's not much sense to be made out of that rambling. If you're going to throw out crazy theories, you gotta back it up with proof (ie. numbers, real statistics, etc.).

He isn't any crazy theory its the truth. I have taken cruises to Ireland and Finland and Russia, they have a higher average income its the truth and they do pay more for gas. So you're the one thats rambling. The sad thign is our nation's average income isn't going up so the gas prices are going to hit harder than other countries.
one of these threads pop up all the time... this time its ironic because i JUST filled up, and its now over $4 where i live... i went expecting $3.70 ish... and then BAM $4.05? i was like whaaat? ive never seen it that high around here...
OKAY... this thread was suppose to be a joke... buying gas at 6.66 is somewhat funny? I guess not. But seriously... I heard that some places may start pricing gas by the half gallon... which will be a joke because they can raise it a bit more to make it still look cheap.
Welcome future UK stars... Darius Miller, Deandre Liggins, Kevin Galloway, Josh Harrellson
They prices are all an attempt to get the people to throw their hands in the air, say "I give up" and allow the oil companies to drill in all those "environmentally protected" areas. If they raise the prices high enough because of this "shortage" (which is BS to begin with, there is no shortage), we wont care about Alaska anymore.

i really don't think oil companies care about our alaska... im pretty sure they are just making bank, which they should... americans have been trying their hardest to keep the price of gas down.... in reality, its should be way more than it is even now because of supply and demand... if people want/need it, and are still willing to pay for it, then thats how much its worth, the US has tried its best to artificially keep the price of gas down, but with more and more laws, it gets hard too and it starts going up, that and because, oil companies can, because, we'll still buy it...unless the US makes a drastic change (for example, the way we live and use gasoline) or we produce more crude oil refineries... oil aint going down, not till it becomes obsolete

They pay a **** ton more in taxes.... This is not a comparative argument.
They will make, we will pay, and we will jump to much cheaper vehicles and move more to carpooling. Sometimes I wish I could get more stuff organized for carpooling. Half my commutes are to work, and everyone at work shows up by themselves.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
