So technically its not that .1% that makes the other 99.9% of goodness redundant. Its the media's coverage. They choose what we see, we see what they choose.
The media chooses what they put on but they are only going to put on what brings in the viewers. The biggest problem with any situation, war, politics, fuel, annything you name it. People are swayed by what they see and accept it as fact, usually the first time no questions asked, instead of going out there and doing some reserach to say is this right or wrong.

I truly hope the individuals in this video are the ones we hear about being killed by a roadside bomb and not decent American soldiers, scratch that... decent human beings.
Unfortuneately darwin's theory doesn't apply to humans only non bi peds. I'm a big proponet of euthanasia of stupid people and breeding licenses. There are far too many people wasting oxygen that others could be enjoying.

Growing up around military personel... I've come to some conclusions. Most of the soldiers we have are somewhat immature and ignorant. My dad will tell you straight up that when he joined he was a jackass and did some stupid stuff. Now, being a command sgt major... he has to deal with all the idiots and there are some REALLY STUPID soldiers out there. Hate to see this stuff happening but taunting children compared to murder is two different things. Hopefully these individuals will be taken care of (I'm sure they will) and you know that it will be worse for them then it would be for the common citizen.

that's true. what's unfortunate is to make someone an efficient soldier, you have do desensitize them of emotion when it comes to death, killing, and actions we consider cruel in a civilized environment. This just happens to be what happens when that sensitivity and sense in general is lost completely.
Wow I can't believe people fell for the same damn thing as the "good" side of our troops in the media. I just have a few things to say.
1) Apparently not everyone is doing these things.
2) Welcome to life.
3) Americans aren't the only people doing these things.
4) We're all humans, accept it, humans make mistakes.
5) Yes, what the Marine Motari did to that puppy was wrong, But does that still mean his life is less important than a puppy? NOT saying that Animal Abuse is right ( I'm highly against it ), nor is that puppy's life worthless, however, the Marine is fighting Iraqis.
6) What the hell has happened to America? We've gotten too soft, too many Americans are just a bunch of bleeding vaginas who don't like to fight. ( No offense to females. )
7) America was built on war, violence, and crimes. It's in American nature to fight.
8) It's in Mankind's nature to fight and go to war. What happened to the good ol' days when the Warrior Ethos was one of the most honored and highest in regards?
9) Nevermind, I forgot mankind became a bunch of pussies.
10) There's plenty of good things that people don't see that go on over there was well, don't judge from just a few, and no, they don't judge from just a few either. A lot of people don't like Americans because of how we are, and it all boils down to jealousy.

WRONG. America was built on the ideals of equal rights to every man, animal, or thing, and the ideal of FREEDOM. Just because there was a revolutionary war to acheive independance from England does NOT mean we were built on THAT war.

We still honor that "warrior" for what he does in battle and serving his nation, provided that he does something that goes above and beyond benefiting the well being of fellow americans. None of the actions in that video did such.

You're right. Alot of good is happening over there. But again, you're wrong, this stuff is 99% of what the media shows people all over the world, and I hardly think that they're jealous of a country that is over $8,000,000,000,000.00 in debt, and lives everyday with an overhanging fear of another event like the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Come on, we can't even agree on which democrat we want to run in the same race.

Philistinine is also an Insulting name BTW, he hailed from Palestine IIRC ). Or how about Solomon, and his arabic wars, and when the Armies of Babylon( Modern day Iraqi area I believe) came over and conquered Jerusalem and sacked the city. Or what about when the Romans came over and had problems with the arabic people and the hebrews fighting all the time? What about when the crusades went on, or how the arabians betrayed each other when the Mongols came over. Or how about during WWI and WWII when the Palestinians and Israelites fought each other. Or how about when there was Musilms in the Schultzstaffel(SP?) near the end of WWII, because they didn't want America to win, because they knew the Jews would be migrating into Palestine like the old times.
Then we can continue to our "Modern" history.

hey, how about you go read a history book, israel didn't exist until AFTER WWII to begin with, so you can't really call the insurgents "israelites" to begin with.
and as far as ghenkis conquering mongolia around the 1160's you're right. what you didn't read is that mongolia was just starting in the 700's. IT HAD TO BE THERE FOR HIM TO CONQUER IT.

By the way Arabia spans Saudi Arabia, Israel, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Iran. The Seleucids had control of much of Arabia thanks to Antiochus of Antioch, as well as Parthia and Persia. :slap:
