I know a lot of people do not traditionally like imports but would they hate on me if i was to get one of these?

I went out and bought an Astra...that is imported from Belgium, it is pretty true the european version as far as visually, the whole reason I bought it was b/c of its reputation over there and its styling.

[soapbox]Do you really and truly care? If what somes clowns on an internet forum think is going to influence your decision on how you're going to spend several (or many, as the case may be) thousand dollars then you need to re-assess your priorities. Find a car you like, and will fit your needs and budget at this point in time, and go buy it. If your friends give you grief about the choice then tell them to go buy you the car they want you to have. Or, maybe they aren't really your friends.

Now, if you want opinions about a certain car's performance, reliability, or general value that's a little different. The is a lot of good (and bad unfortunately) info on the interweb. But don't go out a buy a car just because it's what somebody else thinks you should get.

Not at all. Love those cars... I think there was a supercharged version also with like 500hp or so.

How would you get one here?
