oh well, if you pee your pants when you hit 215, you should be dry by the time you stop :)

It is insane, but on that big *** heavy bike, it was probably fairly stable as long as road conditions were nearly perfect.

Re: How fast have you gone?

Got popped at 135 in 2nd gear in a 45 zone about 16 years ago (got cut off and dude wanted to play [ah the sweet ignorance of youth]) in the '79 Camaro. Lights came on and had to shut it down before slammin' 3rd. Cost me roughly 2 months of pay at that time and ended the street racing career permanently, after tallying about 8 points, being barred from roughly 6 communities along that road and evntually having to go to a refresher course. Cop was REAL frustrated at the smoking tires at 50 mph when I took off (good thing the posi was dead on when I ripped 1st and slammed it in 2nd). Looking back, probably the stupidest stunt I've ever done. REAL lucky they didn't auction it off. From then on, only dragways.

Where is the BS flag when I need it. 135, in 2nd gear... Come on now. Using generous figures in a gear calculator, I come up with 91mph. This is assuming 4 speed manual trans, 2.55 gears and 26 inch tires.

went 90 in a 30 once. Scary as hell actually. I was running really late and had just gone the other way so I was pretty sure there were no cops
