  • so today i learned....

putting 400lbs of ice into a chevy Colorado is much easier then putting 400lbs of ice into a toyota paseo.

so i work at kroger as many of you might know, and today around 3:00 this guy shows up from a local restaurant and says their ice mechine is down and its graduation weekend around here so it was pretty busy and he needed 400lbs of ice, (20x20lb bags)
no problem he had a truck he helped and i even got a tip.
at around 8:00 another guy from the restaurant shows up and they need another 400lbs of ice, ok i can do that, except he drove a toyota paseo, and he diddnt help, not one bag of ice, and not even a thank you. needless to say i was not very careful with the interior of his ****ty car. but was very impressed that i got it all to fit.
when i was done the car was at least 2in lower in the back

    just thought i would share.

loading that must have been fuuun...

my dad works at Southern States, a home-farm-garden place w/ a few locations in the south...i had to help him w/ an after hours delivery...when he called me i was on the camaro...wound up w/ 8-50 lbs bags of dog feed in the t-top well, on the shelf stacked to the glass, and on the back of the rear seat folded down...that 3.4 was screaming obscenities all the way to the delivery spot lol

i learned 3.4's HATE extra weight...and deliveries are the worst

I loaded up my car with boxes full of paper. Files for work. fit 19 boxes in the car, utilizing every single space possible.

The back tires were buried into the wheel wells a good inch.

When I moved home from florida, I had my camaro So carefully loaded, like GR8 said, not a single spot of my car wasnt used. my seat was nearly all the way forward and not leaned back, the glove box and center console were even filled.
Good thing I didnt get pulled over, I couldnt see out of my back window or my passenger window, just my drivers and the windshield. haha

O man, that thing was sagging!
3.8L dont like extra weight either I guess.

amen brother, the people that come into my lowes are real bad about that. i stuffed a 16 foot 6x6 into a beretta one day, that was pretty interesting.

I have packed some serious **** away in my f-bodies....

after they did it all you should have called them indiots because they problaby could have called a commercial Ice delivery place and even with the delivery paid less then what they paid you.

on one of my earlier attempts at tying Christmas trees on the tops of cars me and the guy buying the tree who was helping me, tied his doors closed, so he had to get in dukes of hazard style. he laughed.
