Intestines inside the car, blood everywhere, and apparently it was pregnant. Baby deer were found in the passenger floorboard. Sad... was a nice car, well modded and he'd just put a whole new leather interior in it the week beforehand. Couldn't get anything back from it.

    Suicidal bambi...

I hit a mule deer by the white tank mt.'s in 2000, it was in a 00' cavalier I bought for my ex-fiance. It was 3 weeks after I had bought it. It was Nov. 23rd 1999. I was doing 55mph at about 2:00 am and all of a sudden from the corner of my eye I saw something coming from the side. I didn't know what is was at the time but it side swiped me on the drivers side, I braked when it hit us, and it hit the drivers front head light smashing in the hood and flew over the car and landed on the trunk.
At first I couldn't open my drivers side door due to the damage. But I rolled down the window and crawled out with my Sig 226 9mm. Went back to the rear of the car and all I could see was the dented trunk lid. No deer or any blood any where. My ex was alright so I went looking for it to see if it needed to be put down. Couldn't find it any where after going up and down the road for 30 minutes we finally left. Went to a gas station to look at the damage, front drivers light was cracked to hell with fur inside of it , hood was bent in with antler marking stratched all the way to the passenger side, front bumper smashed in the hair inbeded into it, drivers fender bent in, rear trunk lid dented in and scratches.
I took it down to the dealership where my dad worked, the adjuster came and took a look at it because they didn't think I really hit a deer. But after looking at the fur and antler markings they covered it. Someone told me that the deer will follow the lights of vehicles and ram into them. I don't know if it is really true but that deer I hit didn't make to far. I think that was one of the oddest and scariest moments that has happened to me and it is a short list.LOL

^ your story sounds similar to what I've heard from my friend who works in the oil patch in western Canada. Out there moose are a bigger problem than deer tho...the moose actually get territorial and take your car of full size pickup as a threat. They literally charge at your vehicle head first. My buddy's has been charged at before, but only at low speeds...messed up the side of his truck.

You also hear a lot about moose being hit while they're crossing the road...when that happens the car/truck usually takes the legs out from under it and sends the body into the windshield...with a 2500 pound moose the front seat occupants really don't stand a chance.

Thats what scared me the most, the deer going through the window, I'm glad it was in the cavy because if I was driving the Camaro I think because of how low it is , the mule deer would of went through the window on us= Dead people in car. I have to give it to that deer though getting hit like that and running away. I hope it didn't suffer if it did die after I hit it , thats why I looked for it for 30 mins, even driving on the other side of the road going the wrong way I looked. I was running out of gas so that is why I left.

reminds me of when me and my dad hit a deer a few years back on the Astro van...hit the deer runnin 55, smashed in the hood, the drivers side fender, grille, shattered the windshield, had blood poop and hair all through the windshield. the drivers side mirror shattered, broke off and landed in my lap in the passenger seat, and the glass wound up in my dad's arm. the interior was covered in glass. the deer flew over the van, over an S10 behind us and it broke both antlers off when it hit the highway...scared the mess outta me

A few weeks after I bought my Jetta, a deer hit it. Stupid A** dear jumped out of the woods into the side of my car. Scared the crap out of my son, and left a few dents in the car.
