Re: i could have been badly hurt today
What kinda car was it? an F bod? What was the weather like? Slamming on the brakes especially in RWD forces a lot of weight transfer rear to front and can thus throw it around especially if your turning while slamming the breaks, that's just inertia and physics working against you.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

Re: i could have been badly hurt today
Same principle but it shouldn't have spun around in FWD. Back brakes may be out of adjustment. You didn't hit anything so just enjoy the ride you won't get to many oppurtunities to do that and walk away.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

Re: i could have been badly hurt today
Under hard braking if your car steers to one side despite steering in the opposite direction I would think its because your brakes are grabbing better on one side than the other...maybe have them checked.
