i passed emissions!

somehow in the span of 2 months or less, my rear brakes went from passing inspection just fine, to doing absolutely nothing.

honestly though i wouldnt be surprised if the shoes have just finally worn to nothing. id bet money theyre the factory brakes (179k miles.)

i didnt post this in general or suspension since i really have no questions, lol. ive had new drums and shoes sitting around for maybe 2 years, just never put em on, guess i will now.

though id prefer to use it as an excuse to get an lsd/disc rear.:banana:

my egr valve was busted and leaking causing my nox emissions to be really high.

i have a high flow magnaflow cat with a flowmaster catback. thats never been a problem, just my egr.

i got a "new" used one from ebay for only $50. came with the gasket too.:rock:

I passed emissions too! and I don't have to do safety. Mostly I just took it to a shop, they just looked at my car and said "you pass, heres your sticker"

its different for every state. I just snagged some O2 sims, cleared a few codes, and was done with it. Not to mention paying someone not to notice the sims...
