so i start taking some photos today.





and find this



now it had to have happened today between 1230 and 2. I was parked at the racetrack and found a note asking me where the hell i learned to park because i angled taking two stalls. Didn't even notice damage until i went outside this evening.
I have contacted the race track and hopefully their cameras picked up the sob who hit and ran my car. I have to wait until surveillance goes over the footage and calls me back.
:rant:People who hit and run are seriously starting to get to me. I can't believe people won't take responsibility for their actions.

If you were angled, how the hell did you get clipped like that? Someone pulled into a space too fast and didn't notice your car was in the next spot?

for the record I only take up one spot when I park and I have never had it happen to me. I also intentionally park a little further away ro on a curb in an extra big spot. I only do it if its not that big of an inconvience. My car is less then a year old, and I already have a "gash" in my door guard on the side of the car.

I think I save time overall vs. driving back and forth looking for a spot, I just go out park and start walking in.

I think if you park sideways, you're bringing attention to yourself and asking for some jealous b@stard to do some damage.

And the other guys are right. I think with a little rubbing compound and some elbow grease, it will clean it up to the point where it's hardly noticeable.

yea but you usually park sideways in an empty portion of the lot where there are not alot of cars going to be there to begin with...I find when I park normally there, I will still get ppl parking right beside me on either side, I think they do it cause they no it will piss me off....you dont park sideways where people are dying to find a spot then yes you are asking for trouble...

if i take up a normal spot, I tend to get people parking close to my drivers side door. With the size of our doors it gets to be a tight fit to squeeze in. I just started taking up 2 spots recently.
As far as buffing out the scrape, the white paint will come off no problem. the darker spots are scrapes right through the paint. it isn't a massive amount of damage but it is not really the point. I am just crossing my fingers that the surveillance camera will show who did it so they can get charged with hit and run.

If someone would have left a note, I would have worked it out with them so insurance wouldn't come into it. Due to their lack of respect for some one else's property and not taking responsibility for what they did I just want them to get screwed over by our one and only insurance company.

Personally I think that insurance should be voided if you are caught hitting someone else's vehicle or property and you take off. You should be forced to pay out of your own pocket and your license should be taken away and vehicle impounded until it is paid. maybe you would see less douche bags taking off.

As it is our government just recently amended our law so that hit and run on a pedestrian has more sever penalties than staying at the scene. It used to be that you would get less of a sentence if you took off. Gee that makes sense.

definetly screw them over, Like I said, get a nice bumper job done as well as some other goodies, and tip the guy real well....

and thats a bad idea for insurance to be void in this situation...say the guy hit you with some piece of **** he doesnt care about...fine impound my car, Im not paying for that cause I cant "afford it"

insurance shouldnt be void...it should just skyrocket cause these *******s make us pay more....
