Dont count on them calling you about the surveillance. I had the same thing happen to me and called them to check it. Called back 3 times, emailed countless times yet nothing. Good luck finding the prick who did it.

then again like said... you park taking up 2 spots... average person thinks you are a prick and some peopel will **** with your car.
Hell on campus where parking is always a ***** people will "steal" spots all the time. Friend of mine saw a normal daddy's college girl steal a spot in an Altima from a guy in an 80s silverado, After she stole the spot and go out, he just rammed her car did like $2500 in damage and drove off. But ***** deserved it.
Girl stole a spot from me one day I got out and told her, "yeah you better go park someone else because after I am done with your car you will need a towtruck to get home."
She wisely moved it, but I obviously coulnd't park there because I would likely get keyed.
Park normal, don't draw attention to yourself, and park a little further away so its not convienient for people to park next to you.
My experience though it makes not sense is.... the more you freak out get anal and protective of your car... the more it gets ****ed up.
I'm a new member to the board and to here about this makes me sick.Doesn't anybody give a crap about other peoples stuff.I hope the camera and you find him!

Thats what I mean, park further away where there are fewer cars, then turn sideways as its not an area where people are "competing" for spots.

That is very true...I notice that, cause even when I park far away to avoid getting hit by doors, I get hit by carts, or still have some *******s park right up against my door when Im straight, and there are 100000 empty spots around me....
Bottom line, this kinda **** irks me, and this is why I am loosing soo much respect for society and people in general...the other week I was at canadian tire driving by the main enterance when someone pushed a cart out into the middle of traffic...an empty cart coming barrelling down at my car, and I have no where to go...wtf is wrong with ppl?
The to get out of the way I manouver ever so slickly around the old guy walking infront of my car ever soo slow, and give her some gas so the rear kicks just a bit...I just managed to get out of the way cause the back slid out a bit...but honestly why the f*ck doesnt anyone repect anyone else anymore?
F*ck I go to the coffee shop and hold the door for anyone and everyone thats behind me, and I let ppl out before me...why is it only like 10% of the time I get that same service back? what ever happened to the morals of society? why the F*CK is everyone just in it for themselves now, it's really starting to rattle me...

tell me I'm not the only one that feels this way?
Take a Xanax and deal with it. I stopped losing sleep over what everyone else does with their day to day life. Living and working in a MAJOR metropolitan area, it is difficult to save your car from minor dings and dents. You can't park sideways in a parking garage, when the stupid people that run the place see that, they will ticket you, so thats not an option some people can use to save their cars.
I have a dent in my door from some a-hole backing into it two years ago, and I wasn't even in the car. I was pissed at first, but I knew I wasnt going to report it to insurance. Didn't see the point of reporting a dent for a $100 door that could probably bump my insurance premium $100 a month. If you own a good car, best bet is not to leave it parked on the street, if you don't have that option, then just deal with it.
And everyone wonders why I drive a POS.
1995 Pontiac Firebird
2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT Crew Cab 4x4
I dont loose sleep over it, I am just eventually going to kill someone thats all...like these **** heads that key cars...f*ckin do something with your life
Mogobs, I think I am going to start uptaking smoking like you soon to bud...the hypocritical, irresponsible, arrogant, deviant **** I see in people today makes me wanna break someones neck...
as far as taking up 2 spots, this is in a parking area with easily another hundred empty spots. Like i said before i am less worked up about the damage than the hitting and running crap.
I used to have a 91 black lebaron convertible in 95. that thing was a hit and run magnet. It got it when i was at work one day, 2 weeks later someone backed into it in front of my gf's house, another week later another hit at work, then just after all the damage was repaired I got hit again. every time when it was parked.
the only time the person who hit my car said anything was in front of my gf's house. he knocked on the door and took responsibilty. I told him not to worry about it and just threw it in with the other claim since it was in the same spot. i figured i was already paying a 300 dollar deductible, he didn't have to pay too. On the other hand if i had seen him hit the car and he took off, I would have made him pay up.
As far as not repairing it. You don't have your insurance payments increased here for this kind of thing. the only time you are affected by increases is when you are at fault in an accident. I have a 300 dollar deductible. the damage isn't worth the deductible so i will take care of it myself. I have driven all sorts of pos cars. I am tired of them. I love the way this car looks and the compliments I get on it. I won't let it become a pos.
I grew up learning to respect other people and their property. I never let my doors swing out and ding another car, I don't cut people off and I don't steal parking spots, It amazes me that other people don't seem to have similar principles whether they have a crappy car or not.

honestly, I think thats just Toronto. While there are tons of nice ppl there, for every decent Torontonian there are 2 or 3 jackasses who are so self-absorbed and think they are too good to walk a shopping cart to the stall or to pay attention to your vehicle when they open the door.
my solution to your never ending frustration: move away from Toronto, as I did!
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
