This is basically a rundown of what they did. I'm still a little shocked about the price because I could have bought a whole new car for that much; I'm still pleased with the way it performs though. I did notice some power gains after the build. In your opinion do you think I paid too much for their services? - $4100 (the logo on the corner blocked it off lol)
well how does it run? to be honest you could of gotten a new motor for that price. or upgraded to a v8
it runs beautifully except for a oxygen sensor problem which i veen having for a while now. yes indeed, i could have upgraded to a v8 which I originally wanted to do; lt1 probably.
pretty steep bill....was it worth it for the overall gain?
overall, no sir probably not. matter of fact the whole thing was accidental so i didn't have much of a choice. it is my only vehicle; can't afford anything else until after college.
v8 swap I am looking at but with gas prices.. v6 is way better.
yea, v6 is pretty much the way to go these days. at 4 something a gallon im almost glad i've got a v6!

Honestly if working well , I would not complain to much. Once you get to a certain point no turning back. My car overheated a few weeks ago, water pump went bad but temp sensor never reported it overheating. If known to begin with woudl have got rebuilt engine probably.. but after you are spending alot in tearing it apart.. not cheaper to turn back and change mind. Cracked both heads, so cost me $2950 in the end. New crate engine is more then 4k.. rebuilt engine less obviously. v8 swap I am looking at but with gas prices.. v6 is way better.
