Not true. If there is pertinent data on any server, a "hacker" can get into it. The only true safe way to keep others from hacking into a network thru Wi-Fi is to not install in the first place, and if you do, severely restrict their access, like Northwestern University for example.
Something else you have to understand is that telecommunications are growing more and more interconnected. With VOIP phones, computers, servers, routers, receivers all being connected, all can be vulnerable from access from one another. If you think some ****ty encryption is going to keep someone from getting info, I assure you you're wrong. They dont pay IT security personnel six digit incomes so that they can rely on a WEP key.
