I had a Spec 3+ clutch w/the ceramic something(can't remember), that was outstanding, just alittle harder to press in and let out on. It also held together after blowing up 3rd gear. When I finally took it out when selling the tranny for my A4 swap it still looked good after about 30,000 miles of abuse from the Powerdyne running at 8-9 PSI. Just don't use Spec TOB or piolit bushing, stocks ones are more beefer and will last longer.

no, my car isn't stock at all lol

its so great because the stock clutch had abo****ely no feel to it whatsoever, it was either engaged or not...... plus when you really laid into the clutch just wouldn't hold all that great.

the new pressure plate holds in beautifully, aside from being a tad off balance.

Sounds great. Why do you think the pressure plate is off balance? Vibration???

yeah, just a tad, but only around 2k rpm.

                      it's odd.

nothing unbearable, just noticeable, primarily in the shifter.

That is odd. With any luck it will go away.

did you put the driveshaft back in exactly as it came out? if possible rotate it 90 degrees and see if that helps. Did you put in a new trans bushing? if you raised or lowered the DS angle that could do it also.
Then again it might just go away once the clutch is broken in.
