Just because the board has accepted the offer doesn't mean it's finished.
All those other places are sponsored by AB not necessarily owned by them.
The purchase process can be drawn out and very technical, however with the Busch family having the major controlling stake in the company still I would imagine what they say goes. Best case scenario is that they have AB for a little while, realize they cannot duplicate the magic and sell it back to the Busch family at a loss.
Right now foreign companies are looking at any profitable US companies because of the exchange rate these companies are considered cheap, with AB being a truly international company that can be bought with US dollars they are very attractive to a foreign investor.
I'm sure it will be sold back to a US investor once they screw it up.

Here's the link and yes it has been accepted by the board. As for the 7 entertainment parks AB owns, In Bev said it will sell those off. In Bev Takeover

Actually it's quite American. It's the American dream on a grand scale. Start a business, build it up, sell it. This happens thousands of times every year, there are only a few as large as this. Think about it, 100+ years ago the Busch family started a little brewery, it made a few people happy where they were selling their product. More than a 100 years later their brand is recognized worldwide and from a startup of a few hundred maybe a few thousand dollars it's turned into a corporation worth 52 billion. I applaude them, of course it helps that some of the larger institutional shareholders were pressuring them to make the descision to cut some of their losses for the year but hey I still applaude them. Maybe I'm looking at this to business minded and not red neck enough, idk.

Call it what you want. It just shows the type of person you really are.

                        Everything isn't about money.

AB built up this persona that it was more than a company. It was actually part of St. Louis. Odds are if you live in St. Louis you know somebody associated with the brewery.

This is why people are mad. Because they didn't realize that AB was just another goddamn money-hungry business after all. The persona they were putting off was just marketing, very damn good marketing. All though its expected of a business to act like a business, people feel that a business they actually trusted, just turned their back on them.

Yeah, actually I only said that 'cause i felt like cussing. Frankly, I think their products suck. I prefer the more obscure local micro breweries.

The type of person I am is the type that recognizes the whole intent of profitable business is its bottom line. Profitable businesses do not operate based on good morales or ethics, that's the truth and it always will be. Pissing people off is part of it. They are the 3rd largest employer in the county just south of me. The people there have already been told they will be sold off to someone else. It's life, it's how big business works. It isn't the CEO, CFO, president or boards responsibility to worry about the welfare of each and every one of its employees. For someone to be pissed off at this deal they clearly have no understanding of how business operates and more then likely have been blind to the inevitability of what every major corporation could face someday.

Cliffnotes: Business aint about making friends it's about the bottom line, plain and simple. Every move made is to improve the bottom line.

Same here, hard to find around here since so many places get the pricing on the large brands. There is one place that sells like 150+ diff types on tap.
