Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
Re: Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
hey, that sounds about right, maybe even a little underpriced for your 99 firebird. All of these American guys are basing their opinion on what you'd pay for the same vehicle in the US. But in Canada, its an entirely different story.
Just to give you an idea...I just sold my 1994 3.4 with 217,000 kms for $4250. Anyway, I'd be happy with $7600, but especially with a BC car (meaning no rust) you could probably sell that thing in Eastern Canada or even Alberta (places where I know the market a little) for over $8000.
Good luck with the sale...its hard to let such a nice vehicle go!
Re: Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
whatever you do tho...don't listen to these American guys who don't know anything about the value of our cars in Canada (no offense to you Americans)...you can get a pretty penny for that thing. Hence why I'm always shaking my head at you guys who are parting out your F-bodies, when they could be selling them for thousands up here in Canada.
Re: Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
Int the US I'd sell it in a heartbeat but then again its canada seems like you guys get raped on cars up there. But agreed here it would only be $3500 USD.
Re: Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
hmm weird. i knew canada had to be good for something. i guess its car sales.
we are also good at improving the us economy by escaping our high gas prices and buying yours. $5.70 a gallon right now in BC. I paid $4.25 a gallon when i crossed the border this weekend.
There is a reason 85% of us live on the border, and it isn't because we are gathering to go to war.

how hard is it to sell something in canada if you live in america? canadas only an hour away from me and im having trouble selling my truck. now i wanna try putting it up in canada but i dont know how to do all that.
Re: Buyer's Offer for my 99 Firebird. Think it's good?
i think it all depends on your location... i saw a car like mine with more miles than mine go for 7k... so... if thats good in your area, take it, it sounds like a good offer
