I have a furnature cart under the k. I already have the trans member unbolted. so now I just need to take the rims off and slightly raise the car up so I can unbolt everything till I get to Lowes today to get some lumber. I have NOTHING to keep the car raised while I pull the member from the frame...

ok, well I finally got the k member dropped. (did ya'll know the car has brake lines?) haha i was pulling up on the car and I heard this SNAP!!.. haha brake line broke.. Im so glad I wasnt going to use it. lol but with light going away, and I needed a saw saw blade to cut the exhaust pipe (clamp was too rusted) I put everything away for the night, put the maro on stands... to tell you the truth, the 6 bolts that held the k member in place wasnt that hard to pull out, and I feel its ALOT easier to drop the engine from the bottom than pulling it from the top. I figured it would of been easier to pull from the top since I have EVERYTHING but the engine out of the bay... but that damn AC compressor just didnt want to budge, and I couldnt get to the last 2 bolts in the rear, so I said screw it, and the motor and trans + k member is finally not attached to the car anymore.. only thing I need to remove are the brake lines which I'll just cut those out..

I'll get pics sometime tomorrow. Everyone, thanks for all the input that ya'll have given me and links to follow through with this...

oh my freaking god... that motor is a PITA to pull with that tranny still attached.lol and on top of that, with the k member still attached its even a more PITA to move around in the garage with all the crap I have in it. lol So once the lady gets home, I'll get photos posted up, but for now Im going to try to drop the k member while the motor is still on the lift.. pics up soon..
