yea, the emo appearance mess is stupid, but the music is great...if it wasnt for listening to Dookie when i first bought a guitar, i'd of never picked up a bass...i owe my livelyhood to them lol
maybe i should clarify myself. i will listen to ratm but the lyrics make me sick. i love my country. which means i have to take the good with the bad. the 1st amendment lets them say whatever they want to say. but it also says i can say whatever i want back. how this is ignorance, please, let me know.
if you dont like this country, move to france. they dont like it either.
I lol'd, it reminded me of a clip from That 70's Show I watched last night where Fez is getting deported and writes a letter to Jimmy Carter about why he shouldn't get deported and says "If I have to leave this country, where am I going to go? France? F*** France."
I like political music, I just think most modern bands don't do it very well. I have several comments aimed at those who think artistic dissonance is unpatriotic or "america-hating" but I don't think CV6 is really the place for them. haha. Anyway, I actually like this song, errr...liked it until I started hearing it everywhere. Too much play time kills my enjoyment of a song, it loses something.
just about everything. if i could get a rage against the machine bside cd for cheap, i'd get it. just so i can listen to their awesome musicianship and not their crappy lyrics.
