Inspiration to those new and old...

Well, I noticed that our board is quickly picking up new members who are interested in going faster, looking better, and beating down LS1's!

I'm sure those of you who are old school and have been around for awhile have already seen this, but to those who haven't, here you go.

Tim King's 8-second v6 firebird. This is just an example of what the potential is in GM's 3800 series II engine.

wow.. 8.99 I would say thats a little fast lol... never knew a fbody could go that fast. I hear of high 11's low 12's all the time, but again im not a drag guy...

I dont go to norwalk. Im more a sportbike guy (mid ohio) I have always loved the Camaros, but again, IM not a 4 wheel power junkie.. I like to keep 1 wheel up. But this Camaro I have now has taken so much of my money, I cant afford another Sportbike right now.. :(
hell, I go through norwalk and byt he raceways a few times a month... lol and get this. I live in ohio, and I dont like NASCAR! lol but again, im not FROM Ohio...

only track racing i really like is Le Mans and ALMS.

how many v8's do you know personally that run high 8's in the quarter?

For a v6 yeah thats fast. But the v8' s there r better times:drool:

maybe so, but dont think for a second he wont give them one hell of a run. chances are he's taken down a good amount of v8s with that car. and we arent talking bolt on ls1s and mustangs, full out race cars.

i know alot of them, but thats besides the point. cars that run 8s arent going to be DD's 99.9% of the time.
