My camaro saga begins .....

Well ladies and gentlemen as we move close to the fall of 2008 and I have a camaro (or so...). I would just like to start a thread first thanking you all for the knowledge I have learned from you guys in this past year.

Second, I would like to just give a sort of layout of what is going to be happening to my camaro in the next year. The first thing to happen is an engine swap, in which I am getting ready to order. Second is an LSD/98+ brake swap. Third is the front end conversion. Fourth is paint, My color of choice is NBM with silver racing stripes. Fiffth, getting some tires for the SS rim I have.

After all this I'm sure i'll be about tapped out, but to finish it off I hope to acquire some clear corners, fill-in's for the berger, and an SS Spoiler. After all this I'll be racing my dad in my moms mustang at a local track :tup:

So you're swapping your V6 out for another V6 engine? I would go for a V8 man, haha.

Yeah I'm swappin 6's lol I was thinkin the same, there was someone on craigslist with a LS1 block for sale for 300 but Im not sure if it was just the block or what.

Edit: Just searched for it, No longer there

probably just a bare block. aint no way in hell someone would sell a intact ls1 for under 1500 minimum

Hopefully the better V6 will be on here by next july. Engine will hopefully be done by DEC of this year. Maybe I can have it painted by feb and all buttoned up by April. Hopefully.
