  • Carb backfire

    Hello-
    I just put a chevy 400 in my chevelle idles well but backfires throug the carb on accleration in drive then stalls. Any ideas

    Tire pressure might be low.

      definitely carb....dont know **** about carbs.

          check your plug wire routing, and timing. If any of these are off, you'll be getting the ignited mixture coming back out of the carb.
