I was digging though some old pictures and came around this old one of my truck with the bed off. You can see the beginning of the frame build, the 10 batteries and Pro Hopper Pumps. I really need to get this puppy running again.

10 BATTERIES? just throw an electric motor, in there. I saw a fiero running on 15 batteries...Had some rediculous torque, and 80 mph top speed. Not bad.

Yes, 10 batteries. About 15,000 pounds of total lift. It'll raise the truck from frame on the ground to 14 inches high in about 1/3 of a second.

Must be an old pic, with the old paint and the 3rd brake light still.

Why dont you get a junk yard motor ($500ish) and just transplant.

Yeah, it's kinda old; 2000 I think. The junk yard motor will must likely be what I do. The truck got caught in a hurricane. then hydrolocked. The guy that tried to fix the engine mess up and now it's completely screwed. It still runs, but the crankshaft isn't round anymore and it makes one hell of a noise and vibration.
