it seems that times are up for many of us. i just clocked out of work today with 50 hrs! i had 55 last week. hope everyone else is doing well!

summer drought = slow work for me
getting about 38 hours a week... exhausted though. waking up at 5 takes a toll on you. this weekend was much needed.

what kills me is that sometimes in the same week I will be at work at 5am... and 3 days later won't be leaving work till 3am.

i'm supposed to get to work by 6:45am and dont leave until i'm done. usually 8 or 9 pm.

Summer's a lot slower for me. No college sports to keep the paycheck up. Just a few meets and inventory. But I did get a good pay raise in mid July, so not too bad.

Get up at 5 to do paper route (shut up, I'm getting rid of it.)

At work (pool store) at 8.
Leave at 7.

Get home, eat, go do stuff, sleep.

Repeat all 7 days of the week.
Except Sundays I get out at 4. Woo!

I need a weekend off.....

Edit:.....Most hours in 1 week was 73. NICE!

Yeah, I had a week last year when I would be working 4am-11pm most days. I did get paid accordingly.... but it was in 160* sun on roofs in the city, so it felt even longer!


I slept 12 hours last night, so nice!

I get paid the same no matter how long or short I work during the week :p Government salary FTW b1tches!!

Plus my wife just starting working as a registered nurse. 2 paychecks > 1 paycheck :rock:
