I've had 3 jobs in the past. I used to work 6-2:30pm 40 hrs. a week as a Draftsman. Then go to work for the Public library and work 4-8pm 20 hrs a week. Afterwards go to the gym and train 2 clients 9-11pm 8 hrs a week. Then go home and prepare for the next day. I worked anywhere from 68-76 hours a week. I did this for 2 1/2 years. I made a lot of money, but my body took a heavy toll and I ended up paying Uncle Sam a lot of mola.
I saved up a lot money though in order to pay for my wedding, rent an apartment, buy my new wife a new car, and buy furnitures.
/\ouch. there was a point a couple years ago i was board so i got a second part time job. hated it lol. so now i just work o.t here and get paid time and a half . but as for having to work o.t. that's only a few times a year...and i just had to do that less than a month ago. that was a 72 hour 5 day week 4 me:wavey:
.....wow, I get paid to drive my car around town, listening to music and having fun (pizza delivery). Usually averaged ~$12.50 an hour (tips + hourly wage), but people have been really generous lately that I'm getting about $5 more an hour :). I only work 25 or so hrs a week (5hrs, 5 days), but I bring home a decent pay check :) I love my job, and am not going to complain. Funny thing is, we're in the slow season right now too; I can't wait to see what I'll be pulling when "Pizza Season" starts!
To be fair, I work for the core. That means I oversee all of the planes (F22, F16 et al.). I'm in Fort Worth though, so I only get to see the F35 and F16 on a regular basis.
