The only part of this that made me nervous when I saw it on Ebay, was the crack at between the nostrils. I wasn't sure if I could find someone who knew how to correct that and being that I'm mostly mechanical and know nothing about bodywork.

yeah that scares me too.
keep in mind i'm not like most ppl when it comes to the body of my car. (this is gonna sound weird.) i honestly don't mind a flaw in the hood of the car such as that one, simply because my car's paint is about a 6.5/10
for some weird reason i'd be ok with the flaw.
most people couldn't put it on til they got it fixed but i'm not really like that.
btw, it came in today so i'm gonna go pick it up tomorrow.
I hope that it's not all the way through. Almost looks to me as if he had a hood latch problem the way it's sitting. Either that or he closed it too hard once. As long as it doesn't make for a problem when driving, it shouldn't be a big deal. Have fun with it. I know I love mine. Had the hog out the hood hinges a bit so that it would sit right, but after, man! It looks stock.

yeah theres a number of ways i can adjust it with the turn screws and even the latch itself. if the damage is really bad i will try to fix it before i put it on the car.
