He pretty much dominated the whole thing :) other countries are just jealous of our mad skills.

Just that we have better nutrition, better training facilities, and better coaches.

Notice, most of the Olympic coaches from the US are from other countries. Like women gymnastic, women volley ball, powerlifting, and such. They make more money here than anywhere else.

Plus Phelps eats 19,000 kcal a DAY!!!!

Highest I've heard is 12,000 Cal a day.. in an interview, he said 8-10.

I'm positive that's what I read at the "LA Times" 2 days ago. I'm sure Phelps said 12,000 just to be modest, but they calculated it to be an average of 19,000kcal a day during his 3-5 hours training season.

Like Mogob said that guy eats junks and he's right. I remember them mentioning --He eats 2-3lbs of pasta, 2 dozen stack of pancakes with syrup, 2000-3000 kcal energy drink, 15 eggs with yoke in a way of omelet, certain amount of meatballs, hamburgers, and such.

My eyes nearly popped out of its socket. I thought a well tune athlete like him eats wholesome food. But then again when you're in your early 20's you can pretty much get away with anything.

He'll do good and win at that national hotdog eating contest. I bet his stomach can hold 2-3 gallons worth of food.

after winning by .01 i had no doubt that he could do it...but the question was could the other 3 carry him.
