Would it be possible to drop in a ls2 and t56 into a bird? How ridiculous would the modifications need to be?

how big is your cutting torch? j/k

it wouldn't be any harder then putting an ls1 in.

It is possible actually; I thought of doing a ls1 swap instead of just a rebuild but it would've cost me too much

http://www.mallettcars.com/ if these guys can ut an ls7 in a sky you can put in ls2 in your fbody. there are no real design changes as far as fitment goes between the ls1 and ls2.

Yea; why pay 4k or whatever to have a v8 when you can get great power with a centrifugal for less.

cheaper to just get a v8!
going FI costs $$$$$. It is not like you pay for the set up, and then don't ever have to think about anything.
And on top of that, MOST FI v6's still dont see numbers higher than an LS1. Most of the time, they are quite a bit lower.

what he said, would be the same amount of difficulty as an ls1 swap.

Im pretty sure they are physically the same size, but the ls2 has the bigger bore size

                    Re: ls2

Yea, FI and an LS1 are great, but i was just thinking of doing something different. Ive never heard or seen of someone dropping in an ls2 or anyother ls motor. I plan on doing a huge build when im done with college. Something unique, so im just doing some very very early brain storming.

Theres allot of good options, if i have the money maybe an lsa or ls9

                      Re: ls2

Somebody here has already done it. I think he used a manuat tranny but I don't know which kind.

Another person dropped an LS6 on his Camaro. There's a pic of him in from UDLOSE post of pic's of you.

Yeah, I would go with turbo or SC. It's not worth the expense. Or get a Z or TA

LS1 is cheap now. Check this TA out.

Build up a 3.8 and turbo it!! There is nothing like having a 400+ hp V6. There is not a day that goes by which I miss my firebird. I was stupid for selling it and I wish I could just buy it back.. There is nothing like beating down Z06's in a V6 firebird and them thinking they got beat by a Heads and cam LS1 car!!

I sold my V6 because I got sick of fixing it. stock rear and stock 5 speed tend to break alot with close to 500ftlbs of tq. I should have built her from the rear forward.

My WS6 is still under warrenty so I cant really build it up.
