Lets put you in the driver seat and you run someone over.. you didnt mean to, but does that mean you should go to prison?

I would say my prayers are with your friends and family, but Im not a believer, but my regards to your friends and their families as well as the officer's family.....

but until more information is given, let your friends and their families know they have our best wishes..

Well the one that lived through it is going to be okay we're pretty sure, he's in "fair" condtion.

He lived to tell the story, as well as the cop.

The report said they were legally intoxicated (may have been?) but in all the articles his family is denying that and it has turned into a huge hot topic in the area.

people were pickiting with signs that say " we deserve to know the truth, PD Cover-up" etc etc.

Everyone has been talking about it, I was outside washing my 4-wheelers and I had several people stop by to ask me if I had heard about it and whatnot.

Says they were riding in a cemetery, which, the riding park is next to the cemetery, someone called the police saying there was a disturbance in the cemetery after midnight, so the police were called to the scene.

It also said they were riding with their headlights off, and the cop was on the road. and they pulled out in front of the cop driving, but if it was midnight, and they had their lights off theres no way they wouldnt have been able to see a police cars headlights or cherries flashing.

Archer, sounds like your a police officer, im not bashing all officers because they arent all bad, but can you vouge for every police officer that they arent corrupt, because our little town power hungry cops have been known to be over zealous in the past.

not at all man, Im not an officer. I have alot of friends that are however, and I know alot of cops that dont deserve a badge. Im not taking anyone's side the cop nor your friends. IM just saying that when a police officer slips the slightest, everyone is at the button to jump the gun and blame. Im just saying things happen to good people officers or not. There are far more good cops in this country than bad, but the bad make the stories. we had a bad cop here in town till a couple officers got with IA, and finally got the guy kicked off the force, he was helping dealers by taking some of their money, taking drugs from other dealers and giving it to his dealers, telling females to have sex with him to get out of a ticket, oddly enough some did.. but would deny it because of his years of service. I know there are corrupt officers out there. I wanted to go to the academy, but with my job I dont have the time. Its just like being a soldier, yeah there are some bad ones out there doing bad things to good/ bad people. But some of us are actually by the book in a way.

Its possible the officer didnt see your friends if their lights were off, and its possible your friends didnt see the officer with his lights off. Its all really a mess the way it sounds, but you have lost a friend, your one friend is hurt really bad, and regardless that officer was a good cop or not, has to live with it aswell. thats why I said my wishes to your friends and their famiies as well as the officers family, because they have to be in the middle of it. Gotta love the media..

And Im glad to hear your friend is doing great. I hate to see another rider regardless if its 2 or 4 wheels go down..
