Saw my old car the other day...has this happened to you?

I've been missing that burnt metallic orange '94 Z of my like crazy! I mean don't get me wrong I love my bike but that car just DANG lol. But anyways whenever i traded it the car was BEAUTIFUL and well the guy i traded to got rid of it and now theres a new owner on it. and i saw my old car the other day in town and was disturbed at what i saw.... he put a bra on the front, with blackouts over top the bra... Round foglites replacing the factory fogs, A big yellow jegs sticker on each side of the rear glass, a big orange bow-tie in the center of the rear glass, chrome and red euro-ligts, and theres no tellin what to the interior or what was once my baby. and i know the threads pointless without pics but i've been wandering...
has this ever happened to you? you have your car looking the best it can, and the next person who comes along and has it totally ruins the look of it and it makes you sick to look at it now knowing what you had put into the vehicle?

That's why I will never give up my Pontiacs. Because who knows what other people would do to it.

Yeah, I saw my Civic once being driven by college girl. The car was in great condition, just like the way I kept it. Ofcourse that was 4 years ago. Who knows now?

I saw my old truck that I had sold to my brothers friend, he was at an intersection and did a massive burnout....made me alittle angry

i sold my old mustang to a guy i kinda knew and the next time i saw it was him asking me if id help him put a flowmaster on it. weird thing is, it already had a catback on it that sounded like and prolly was a flowmaster (on it when i bought it). i was kinda dissapointed that this was the kind of person i sold it to.

I saw my old gp about 6 months after getting rid of it. Unfortunetly it was on the front page of the newspaper. The girl who bought it let her bf drive it. they were doing about 90 down a back road and come up on a stop sign where u either go right or left. He didnt see it cause he dropeed his cig. and was trying to find it. Blew straight through the stop sign into a ditch and a tree. The bf lived, but the girl didnt make it. It was weird seeing my car like that.

Mine still had the tinted altezza tails, as well as a some decals i had on the back windsheild. also one of the floormats i had in their was hanging out the side.

Hey, once that money is in my pocket, I don't give a cr@p what they do to it! But funny you mention it. After I sold my bird 3 years ago, I never saw it again, until about a month ago I saw it sitting on a dealer lot. I looked it over and the kid never changed a thing on it (appearance wise anyway). Don't blame him, it needed nothing :). I knew it was my old car because I had a small decal on the rear window that was still there.

I have been waiting for the kid who bought my 99 bird to show up on the forums. I figure its only a matter of time.

Sometimes I think I see it, but I am always dissapointed.

Because its my old car lol. Theres only one other burnt orange camaro around and its a ls1 body style its sunset metallic orange not burnt metallic. Around here if you've got a sports car the person ain't unknown you know them.
another reason i know its mine...i had the car built. it used to be maroon.

What other cars are done IDENTICAL to this in a small town? Z28 with RS ground effects accept for the front clip, Iroc Wheels, the tint job, the paintjob, the exhaust, the little crack in the rear ground under the license plate, the small Hang 'Em High motorsport decal, and the small LIMIT BREAKERS decal in which i was a founder of that car club around here. it was my old car they jus really messed it up lol

this thread has been dormant for a long time. time to reopen it.

i actually saw my 94 3.4 m5 camaro not in person but on craigslist. i called the guy and asked about it. certain things i would only know about the car. things that had been added or modified. sadly he said it was all work that he had done and he was now selling it for more than what he paid. oh well, my bird is a nicer vehicle and i can deal.
