I hate people who drive the speed limit in the left lane...why is it so difficult to comprehend that the left lane is used to pass people? If you are driving in the left lane and not passing anyone, and someone flys up on your ***....GTFO:spank:

Im honestly getting sick of people who cannot drive on the roads. Everyone complains how people need weave in and out of traffic....Im not a weaver, nor do I like passing on the right hand side, so for F*cks sake, gtfo of the way.....

Here where I am (In Canada) There was an old couple doing 60KM/H in the fast lane of one of the big highways where normal ppl are doing 120-140KM/H. They got ticketed with lots of stuff including Careless Driving. When they went to court the case was tossed because they calimed to be intimidated by the trucks in the 2 rightside lanes and felt that (on a hot sunny day) 60KM/H was the highest speed they felt capable of doing.

Man is our system flawed or what!

IMO people should have to take a "check up" driving test every 2-3 years to make sure that they can still drive, because the whole idea of passing it once when your a teenageer and never having to take it again seems not to work very well because peoples driving habits change and when p[eople become dangerous drivers by doing stuff like that then they should be taken off the roads and sent to drivers training.

Im not sure if any of th states have any system like this? I know Canada has nonee and it really is upsetting :(

a check up test every 2-3 years will never happen...do you realize what that would cost? We're already taxed enough man. I don't know what province you're from, but in Quebec older drivers must be deemed fit to drive by their physician who has the right to take their driving privileges away from them.

I did...like 5 times....I was in a hurry, and I was physically unable to pass in any other lane, and this pontiac vibe or w.e was literally doing 105 in the left...it's soo frustrating

It is one thing to drive in the left lane as long as you are passing....I've been in there to, but when I see someone approaching I move to the right and let them by. It is a 2 second procedure, not like the guy going faster then you is going to slow you down any.....

what you need is a real aggressive looking car. The Camaro would do the trick, but its just so low to the ground so it doesn't look very threatening. I drive around in my buddy's lifted Dodge Ram 2500 and ppl get out of the way in a hurry. Since I bought the Magnum ppl seem to get out of the way a little bit quicker too now.

Yea, some of the trucks look mean as hell....But for some people it just doesn't matter....they shouldn't be on the road at all if they cannot figure it out when you flash them...

I mean honestly if you wanna do 100 in the right lane thats fine, you want to go even 100 in the middle...it's not really fine, but I can forgive it lol....The left lane, does not matter what speed you are doing, if someone is coming behind you, you need to move...it's called a passing lane for a reason.

I think the younger drivers don't know the rules of the road or they never learned it. Also old people probably forget and stay in the lane. But I have had some people which the speed limit is 50mph and their doing 30 mph, this is on a 2 way road, so I wait until it is clear and just pass them. Then it seems like they speed up because I get it up to 70 mph and their still in the rear view about 10 cars back. Then I'm back down to around 55mph and their 5 cars back. I don't know if they get pissed and speed up or what. Oh well.

if you in the left lane you need to be doing atleast 10mph over, and when someones comes up on you, move over.

I hear what you saying, people who do that SUCK

Im a young driver (20) and I was ALWAYS taught that the left lane is the passing lane and that it is improper to be passing on the right hand side....I almost never see young people in the left lane not getting out of the way....its always middle aged people (40's) when it happens to me.

If someone forgets, well, I suppose that is possible sometimes. However, it should be loud and clear when someone flashes you, or rides your tail.

Now, don't think that I am an idiot...I don't tailgate people all the time. Infact, I will actually come up and keep a bit of distance for a little bit so that people don't feel rushed...If you haven't moved after like 1-2 minutes, I get closer....after about another 2-3 mins I flash you, then I proceed to get closer (I always leave my foot over the brake though, just incase they wanna pull a brake check, sometimes I'll even throw it into D (3rd) just to A. get louder, B. slow me down a lot faster if you decide to brake)

I never really drive in the left lane unless I am doing a lot of passing, and I ALWAYS move when I see someone coming up behind me. I am not the fastest car on the road, so I do not drive like I am. I also am not a "fast" driver, I usually do either 110km/h or 120km/h

Boggles my mind where some people got their licences though.

I was also told that only in north america does this crap happen....I heard in Europe people actually know how to drive properly...

90% of the time it is someone between the age of 40-50, now and then you get the occasional old person (which can be the worst, especially during crappy weather).
