Ignorance... What we need in our country right now is change. We need someone who is going to understand what needs to be done and will do it. If Obama is elected, our taxes will go up. But there will be measures taken to improve this country. People gripe and complain about paying taxes all the damn time. If you don't like paying taxes, you're living in the wrong country. If you can't see past colors and religion at this point, you're living in the wrong country, and you are 20 years behind the beliefs of the modern liberal youth. I see republicans as ignorant these days. Make your own vote for the right reasons. Not reasons that are completely tactless.

its not all about religion, not saying all muslims are terrorist either. There are just ways people and other countries are going to think when they see the name Barack Hussein Obama.....

i love how people just call obama black, do you realize hes like 60% white or some bull****. Not like I care I hate both candidates running. This is worse then bush/kerry.

This is turning into a thread not a poll. I'll probably go on a huge rant sooner or later if this doesnt get locked up. Because I love how people post there so damn biased opinions and say other people are wrong.

I think the world knows exactly wtf is going on with our presidential race right now, and I wouldn't be surprised to learn that people from other countries probably know a lot more about whats going on with our pres. race than 60% of Americans do right now.

I mean, what would you think if California elected someone for governor with the name Arnold Schwarzenegger? Who cares, it's a ****ing name...

I'm not trying to say that anyone else is wrong, but the way our country is going right now, liberal seems to be the way out of this hole. Just my two cents...

His reasoning for that is wearing the flag pin is a false show of patriotism. It's kinda like those 'Support our Troops' magnets you see on the back of cars. Thanks for supporting our troops by buying a magnet that was made in China to put on a car that was made in Japan. Supporting the troops!

Here's his direct quote:

For me, I don't think either of them are anything amazing. I really don't like their stances on Iran/Russia (the last thing we need is another ****ing war). I do like, though, how Obama is intent on bringing our troops home from Iraq. I really don't like Biden, but I think he'll balance Obama out. I don't like Obama's economic plan. Just because you're rich, shouldn't mean you have to pay more taxes.

There is absolutely nothing I like about McCain. He's just another Rudy Guliani, except instead of 9/11 it's POW. Palin is horrible and is actually being investigated for trying to get her sister's ex-husband fired from the police, all because they were going through a divorce. The choice of Palin was strictly to please Hillary's voters, but she's is anti-choice so I don't think they're going to like that much. Also, he husband owns an oil company.

When it comes down to it all, I pick the better of the two and by far that's Obama. At least he's proposing something different to what we've had for the last 8 years. McCain has shown time and time again that he's the same old Bush, and we've seen how that's worked out.
