Sad to say Ladies and Gents, I upgraded on a whim a couple days ago. I have wanted a new car for years (with the intention of keeping mine).

With all of the discounts/earnings I had and that GM is I figured now was a great time. I would love to wait for the Camaro but I have a feeling it will be more expensive than I would like and there won't be any great deals on them and probably wouldn't be able to use as much of the GM earnings I had.

Sooo, I decided to upgrade to the new Pontiac G8 GT. I love it so far, still miss my Firebird A LOT but I will get used to it.

I seriously feel like I broke up with a girlfriend of 9 years (thats how long I had the car).

I will still belong to this board, but I wanted to thank everyone for any assistance and advice you have given me during my time with the 'bird.

    Ill post pics later....

                          Re: New Ride

The car has 361 HP and 385 Lbs Torque. Its based off of the Holden Commodore in Australia.

I haven't got on it yet, only 217 miles so far.

Does the link for the pic work?
