So a few months ago, like 3 or 4... I applied for a job just to change things up, well shortly after I applied, I got a phone call from a guy, that said I applied at his brothers shop, and he noticed I was a motorcycle mechanic. He owns a shop about 30 minutes away from my home, and said he desperatley needs a tech in his shop.
He asked if I would come in for an interview, to meet him and see his shop, and quiz me trying to find out what I know, and what I need to learn still. I agreed and told him I would come in on monday which was my day off.
I show up monday, and meet him went through with all the quizzing and interviewing, and showed me around the shop.
I really wasnt impressed with anything.. the shop was a pig-sty, the guy wasnt very sociable and his general atitude towards everything wasnt the greatest. Plus, his shop was full of basket case messes that nobody else would accept, and I really wasnt intrigued.
We talked about pay, and general stuff about how things work in his shop.
I accepted the job, making $20 a hour cash. Now that's a good amount dont get me wrong, but it wasnt worth (to me at least) me bringing thousands of dollars worth of tools to a shop that wasnt the nicest building and had absolutley no security at all.
I told him if we could work out a deal, where I didnt have to bring my tools, and my toolbox's I would work for $15 and use his tools.
He wasnt too fond of the idea... so I left the job on the table.

Now, for the next couple days after the interview, he was calling my cell phone leaving me voicemails asking me why I didnt show up for the job and If I planned on coming back in etc...
Then it stopped.

About 3 weeks ago, I got a call on a saturday morning, about 7am from this guy "d!ck".
I wasnt around my phone so I didnt answer and he didnt leave a voicemail.
The next day he called me 3 times, None of which I answered, I figured if he wanted something important, he could leave me a message. No message.

I thought it was just odd he was calling, until this past friday night, at 11 45pm he calls, I answer and he asks for matt, I tell him matt's not around right now, but he can leave a message and have him call you back. I highly doubt he remembers my voice, and I dont have a voice recording on my voicemail its just an automated thing.
So he says "yea... you tell that f*cking guy that im Richard.. I gave him a once in a lifetime job opportunity a few months ago...
and he never showed up for the job... Just let him know that he made the biggest mistake of his life and really just f*cked himself... He f*cked himself bigtime.. He could have been making $30-$35 dollars pr hour right now, but he past that up... You make sure to tell him that!"
So I was like, Okay buddy, I'll make sure to tell him!
You could tell the guy was drunk, or getting there. but LOL, how much of a loser must he be that he feels like he needs to call me up and harrass me because I didnt accept his job offer.
Seriously.
He called me 2 more times this weekend that I didnt answer.
In a way I really felt bad about not taking the job, because he said his wife was going to leave him if he didnt hire help, because he was working such long work hours... But in the end, it's my choice, not his.
Just figured id share my amusing situation...
