I love do it yourself home depot/autozone mods as much as the next guy, but this is going to be a mess once it gets to temp.

Nothing a little high temp silicon couldn't fix.

I wonder how much those hose clamps are relied upon with this high quality build???

Just a heads, I had a broken bolt on an EGR on my 3.4L I didn't really want to try the trouble of pulling the exhaust manifold on a 8 year old car with over 100k miles on it just to throw another exhaust manifold on. I thought mayve I could use High temp JB weld on the broken bolt/EGR to keep it in place.

This was heavy duty high temp JB weld, that "claims" it had been use to cracked pots, cracked blocks, and other things where it held up for years.

I cleaned area, installed it perfect and let it sit and cure for 36 hours.

Started the car up and in 5 min, it all melted off like an icecube on a hot pan. LOL
