not that I had a fast car at first... but I do want to point out.. Doesn't matter if you have a v8 v6 or 4 cylinder, just about 99% of the cars on the road can get up to 108 mph, which is more then enough to kill you. Its just the ones that really look to race/screw around/be an idiot, are attracted to performance cars.
and having watched two accidents just like that happen during street races...i feel for them
what alot of people dont think about is:
what if it wasnt driver error? what if something went wrong with the car? sure, they're sports cars, but christ, alot of engineering goes into the design of a "race" car, and we all know most roads of public access are bumpy as ****
Good reason for parents not to buy their kids these expensive cars. 2 18 year olds? One with a BMW and one with a vette, YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! Should have bought them a $500 Honda, so when they do kill themselves they don't destroy a $15k car. Or in the M3's case, a $35k car.
Now I know why my insurance is so high. Cause of retards like this. There should be a law that if you buy a car with over a certain amount of HP your required to take a couse for how to control a high performance vehicle.
Crashes are kind of a gamble. The usual way of telling impact to the body during a crash is simply multiplying the body weight times the MPH of the vehicle and that's the impact factor. Pretty sure that 15mph would be enough to do someone in. Earnhardt didn't hit that wall very hard a few years back, but it was enough to snap his neck. Road racing on public streets is just way too dangerous and puts way too many lives at risk. No telling if those you try to avoid have the ability to stay out of the way. Just not a bright thing to do, given all that can be lost for a quick thrill.
I wanna know where you're getting a 97 vette for 15k.
did you check ebay? there are two on there now with a buy it now option for les then 15k.
that is a terrible accident 800 ft skid marks, if you watch some of the news videos you can see that the steering wheel drug the ground. terrible to see but this is why you dont give kids a performcne automobile. they are just natuarlly gonna go see whos got the fastest car.

my kids getting a 4 cylinder geo metro when he's 16 til he can save up enough money to kill himself with a "race car". at some point you've got to blame the parents. buying a kid a high performance car at a young age is nothing short of ignorance. and that goes for all the stupid chicks who drive mustangs cuz they're daddy bought them one.
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
