I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I have to get new tires for my rims. I was looking around ebay and found a set of 2 Nankang NS-II 215-40-R18 and a set of Nankang 205-50-R17. I was wondering if these would work together and if anyone knows anything about these type of tires. Never had to buy tires before so Im not sure what im looking for. Any help would be appriciated

Re: Tire Questions
Those are pretty skinny. I'd go with some name brand tires too; I've never heard of Nankang. Last I checked, tirerack.com had Summitomo HRT Z's for about $65 each. They'll last a long time, look good, and supposedly have decent wet and dry grip.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: Tire Questions
what wheels are on your car? im pretty sure the stock tire size is a 215/60/16
215= tire width
60= side wall thickness
16= tire size in relation to rim size

Re: Tire Questions
if they are C5 rims 275's should fit on there...not sure what the sidewall thickness is on that size though....probably 35 though....
