anyone ever done a burnout in reverse? ive noticed it helps keep the tire tread even as it spins the left instead of the right. :slap: damn open rear end.

well, i havent really done them on purpose. sometimes i just hit it too hard in reverse and it spins. its just something different and well, that seems to fit me very well. just curious if anyones actually done it for whatever reason

I used to like doing burnout's in reverse in my friends S-10 Blazer that had a 4.3. We used to try and whip the front end around...

reverse burnouts are NOT good for the tranny.

in the beater escort i had i used to do 20 or so in reserve, then drop her down into low, rip the e-brake up and ROAST the tires. i used to do 50 foot burnouts in it. but after 3 months the trans slipped bad at WOT.

Doesn't reverse burning produce hella wheel hop?

Yeah, reverse is a weak gear, you might break it.
EDIT: in a manual it is anyway... dont know about auto :)
