Limit foods high in starch. Eat whole grains and food high in fiber. Drink only water, milk, or something with low sugar content. High protein. Fruits and vegetables. Cut fast food and most processed foods. Exercise, cardio and some weight training, high reps low weight.

Assuming you wanted to lose weight.

Well I'm not a nutritionist but that worked for me and my dad. It all depends on your body. You might lose weight just by cutting out some sugar, like soda. All that walking you do at work will defiantly help you if you cut some calories. Yea eating after 6 pm is another thing not to do.

archer sounds to me like your problem here is
            carbohydrates

eat to many carbs after a meal you will find yourself falling a sleep from a high blood sugar

im a diabetic so if i can try to help to the best of my knowledge if need me..feel free to shoot me a pm

My clients back then would lose weight when they followed this: Eat carbohydrate rich food earlier during the day because that's when you are the most active, Eat 5-6 small meals instead of 3 large ones, and no more eating after 6:30pm or 7pm because the body's metabolism tends to slow down as it prepares itself for sleep.

Oh exercising 30 mins. a day 4-5x's a week would make it even better.

Stick to water for your beverage intake and then do as much exercise and physical activity as possible.

I know, I know - it is radical and asking too much.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Re: is there a nutritionist here?

thanks guys. yeah I do have to go see my doc, because I do have high blood pressure in my family.. most part is stress with the babies momma..

however, I have shut off the pepsi and redbull intake for about 3 weeks, but I was called out on a job and slammed a 32oz pepsi and taking my soda away is like taking crack away from a crack head.. lol

I changed my diet, eating almonds, bananas with peanut butter (which is actually more filling than a $5 foot long meatball from subway) weird... I went back to cooking dinner instead of eating out. working out is going to have to be a motivator...

as of getting married in may, my girl Le'age can't make up her mind... i guess its my job just to be there. who knows, I do know the resep is on my favorite golf course.. shame on her tho.. the new father in law and I LOVE to golf.. "wheres the groom"? "4!!!!!" haha

                  thanks guys

                      and what do you do?

I walk alot... I mean I cant run, people's lives and property depend on it. Im an underground utility locater. but again, im in my work truck alot too..

I drink plenty of water, sometimes more than i should.. Just wanted to know what foods to eat and what to stay away from. Cant eat beans and rice my whole life... I know how to stay in shape.. but again, I love to cook..

oh well.. I'll stay away from fast food, aswell as fried foods..
