I've had my 360 for a long time and have had no issues. I run pwned.com, so I also have a Wii and PS3 (as well as my older consoles).
Forza's a great game. The online racing is pretty fun too, so if you have Live check that out as well. Bad Company's one of my favorite online shooters. I just got fable 2, which has been great, but I dont know if that's your style.
If you want an arcade-y style of racing game, check out the Need For Speed series. The concept Camaro is in that :D
had to do the thermal paste fix twice on mine, and right after i did it the second time the disc drive started acted up and not playing games. but theyre fun as hell when they work :D get gta4, gears of war, halo 3, etc.. theyre all awesome
