  • my view...

here's the view from the living room in my new place...I love it here! I'm pretty high up at 32 stories and you can see how the CN tower just dwarfs the height my building.

some shots of the CN Tower (147 stories all lit up, different colours depending on what moment i caught it at) the Skydome and the ACC:

I've got a corner unit so I've also got a view of downtown Toronto from my bedroom, although that pic didn't turn out so well.

yep...can't beat living in the city.

Although I've got a slight buzz from traffic off the highway and the passenger train station that neighbour my building. I'm used to it now...it sorta lulls me to sleep every night.

get a better cam. that you can leave the shutter speed opened to about 30 seconds. they would be wicked kool pics.

Not necessarily a better camera, but a tri-pod. Then set like a 2 second delay so you can snap the shot without moving the camera and messing up the exposure. Then the shots will look awesome. :)

Go try it and report back... :p

yes, I do need a better camera, but I just moved in and I'm furnishing the place...so one thing at a time.

i had the camera pressed against the railing on my balcony, trying to keep it as still as possible...what i really need is some sort of wire that plugs into the camera allowing me to snap a shot without having to touch the camera the slightest bit.

I'll take a few shots during the day on the weekend...those pics will turn out much better.

                        so stay tuned folks...

Like I said, all you need to do is set the camera on something stationary, then set the two second delay. Press the button, step back, it counts down 2 seconds then snaps the shot w/o f*cking up the exposure. You don't need any fancy camera or any special remote wires. Works like a charm.
