Well, I walked into the house last night to a "You should tell your mom thanks." Two days ago my dad was telling me about a 87 Yamaha FZX700 Fazer a friend was thinking of giving him in trade for an outboard motor we have; my dad currently owns a 83 Yamaha XZ550RX Vision, which I've ridden a time or two and loved. He was talking of taking the 700, fixing it up (needs a fuel pump) and then selling the Vision for some extra cash. Turns out my mom talked him into not selling it; "This way, you have something to ride" is what I was told :). He'll be on the Fazer and me on the Vision. The bike's in excellent condition for it's age, and was only offered in 82 & 83, making it more of a rare bike than most. I'm not too sure if this is just a "take it out for a ride every now and then" kind of deal, or if it's full blown ownership. Either way, I'm happy to now have a bike I can call my own!! (sorta)

lol, my dad's a AP mechanic, and he's keeping the bikes at the airport he works at right now. That plane's nothing compared to the one he serviced today; Jimmy Buffet's Grumman Goose :)~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
