Ah I didn't even notice that when I was typing it! Thanks for the heads up. It reads just the way it's quoted. Wow. Highlighted.

Re: A sad day for me (pictures inside)

I somewhat became a traitor. I found a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 for a really good price with almost all power options and the performance package (as they put it). I just couldn't resist and I really liked the color on top of it. I talked him down to 19,000 and change. Technically it was used with 256 miles on it from the original owner when she brought back the car after not being able to make proper payments on it and another car she purchased. From the car fax, it seems the car was bought in 06/2008, so I got plenty of time left on the original warranty. It's my first auto loan too at a semi-decent rate... I think.

I was all set to buy a 2000 Trans Am with 59,000 miles on it, but the used car dealers are nothing but scams. The one was listed for sale at $8,995 in Neptune City, NJ. He told me it was listed for that price. The manager stated the warranty was good for 60 days. If anything was to go wrong I'd have to have it brought back to them, and repaired (I live in North Jersey, so it's nearly impossible to drive 70 miles to get repairs done). After looking at it for about 10 minutes he comes back out, and was like "There was a misprint in the ad, it's actually $11,995." My mother ripped the keys out of the ignition so quick to the point she broke her pinkie. The tires were bald. The engine was squeaking like crazy for car with comparatively low miles on it.

Saw another 1999 Trans Am with 93900 miles on it, same problems as the deal above. They listed it online for $7,995, but wouldn't let it go for anything less than $8,995. Even with bald tires, the same squeak, you could hear a knock... the blinkers did not work.

As for my actual accident. My company put 100% of the blame on him. I was told by the way my car looks in person and by the pictures that he didn't stop at the sign to do that much damage and still continue forward. However, the other company's representative has been on vacation for the last 2 weeks, so they are unable to finish the claim in an attempt to get me my deductible back. Still waiting.

I am not a big Mustang fan, but that does look like a nice car. Best of luck with it.

that sucks...but honestly, if you can buy the car back for only 175$ you should...you would make that back very easy in part outs....do you have leather seats? thats already an additional $500-$600...rims, spoilers, body parts, engine parts, new transmission, any mods...not hard to make 175$ back...

thats assuming you get you $6000 as well as the car back....
