so i found a 93 camaro for 1800 it has 135k 6 speed. has new clutch. needs new battery , rear rotor and he says it leaking coolent at the back of the motor? what would be back there to leak? also when i started it up the check gage light is on and when u look at the gages the oil gage says no oil pressure. he says it's done that since he bought the car. do u think the car is worth it?

battery: $60
Rotor: $45
Oil pressure sender: $35 (assuming that's the issue; could be something alot bigger, worst and more expensive!)
Gaskets + time + trial and error to fix the coolant leak: Not worth it IMO. You'll most likely just about completely rebuild the motor; if coolant's got into the oil, then it's screwed.

dogs of the LT1? ur a idiot. they arnt any worse to work on or slower than the 96/97 LT1s. 93s yes cuz they r chip cars. but seriously no its not worth it. U have no idea y its leakin coolant out the rear of the motor. Better get a opti to on that list of parts to get. Along with a WP. Wires and plugs too. Better hope that its just a sensor thats messed up and not the oil pick up broke or bent inside the pan.
