I may sound like an idiot, but what is a ZF transmission? special order T56?

I take that back. It's not a ZF. I definitely have the tranmission only offered in the SS. It was late and I was very tired when I posted the specs. My build code sheet displays I have the MN6 option 6 Speed Manual. Apologies to ZZ Camaro ZZ.

Re: My New 2002 SS 35th Anniversary Camaro

I am not installing any crazy decals, stripes or GFX to this classic Chevy. It's not a V6. Flame me lol. I get enough attention from purists and that's all I need :).

As you can see all my F-Bodies are stock with the exception of my 1988 IROC Z28, the wheels are not factory.

The red 2002 SS had a cool checkered factory GFX but was in very limited production therefore making it rare.

This link shows the factory GFX I'd be buying if I had the chance. http://dealerrevs.com/car/543361

You know, camarographics.com sells factory reproduction kits of those stripes for $200.

Re: My New 2002 SS 35th Anniversary Camaro

                    Hi Rad,
I looked at that $200 GFX and it would look nice I'm sure but then I'd have to change the badging too in my opinion. Would look hot but the temptation would be if I was bored enough. I'll see how many trophies it'll fetch come Spring/Summer 2009.

It's in the garage now, away from the wild birds looking for a target to crap on. Leads me to ask what's the " perfect " way to wash a Camaro SS? What do you all use to protect from swirl marks and scratches? Soaps, wash mitt, cloth type, chamois? I still have a lot to fun to do it seems.

I have the original Mr.Clean Car Wash in a box, maybe I'll use it.

Re: My New 2002 SS 35th Anniversary Camaro

A friend of mine put some flat black 35th stripes on his black SS. Not noticeable from afar, but dead sexy up close. Might be something to consider.

Congrats, by the way. It's beautiful. I still kick myself everyday for passing up on a an '02 Silver SLP SS that I found at a great price. I just didn't have the means to properly take care of it like I would've wanted.
