went to guitarcenter and picked me up one of these:



Epiphone Dot Studio, 10% off & $15 gift card from bestest bud. It doesn't look as spiffy as the Ibanez Artist that I used to have (now worth about 3x the $1k I paid for it back in 97, gotta find that pawn shop....) but it's got good playablility and goes good w/my Les Paul



I've had that one since 92.

I also have another Epiphone strat-looking thing at bestest bud's house being taken care of.

What all have you treated yo self too?

it sounds pretty good. I was also interested in the ES-175, but they didn't have any on display. THat one looks a lot like a dressed up version of my friends 50's someting Gibson (was his grandfathers). I'll see if I can get a pic of my other EPi, & the scanned pic of the Ibanez.

Holy crap!

Looks like a sh!t hole tool shed from outside, and a badarse hang out inside.

I would never have guessed they were the same place from looking at the outside.

I would never have guessed they were the same place from looking at the outside.

That was the plan, I don't need any snooping kids or the tax accesser poking around my TV & full bar.

The outside looks just about the same with the exception of a big glass door, and sky lights. In the spring I'm going to put some white tint on the door & touch up the outside to complete the beat-up shed look.

hmm im much more of a gibson guy myself. ive always felt that epiphone was the cheaper knock off of gibson. and yes i do play guitar im not just some noob bangin on you sh!t, it is a nice guitar nomatter how much i dislike it.
if you were wondering i have a Gibson SG, Fender Telicaster Custom, and two beat old A$$ acoustics.

oh and btw love the Les Paul

I don't play enough to justify a Gibson, although I did have a JCM 900 dual reverb 1/2 stack a few yrs back.
