mine is damn near perfect and had 40k when i bought it almost 4 years ago, driven every winter and not one sign of rust on it. but then again its been sprayed underneath to keep it that way. but still, she's corrosion free. busting a few good donuts in a empty parking lot is excellent.
hell yeah, the best winter sport, besides snow racin'!!
a couple of firebirds ago, doin' donuts in a lot with a couple friends in the car, here comes a cop:
cop: you havin fun?
me: yeah, this is great!
cop: you know this is illegal?
me: really, why's that?
cop: because you don't have complete control of your vehicle
me: I thought I was doin' pretty good!
cop was cool, didn't write me up, just said if your gonna do this, don't get caught again!
glad to hear your ride is still clean - i've tried the anti-corrosion spray on a previous firebird, didn't work very good.
Nope never in fact yesterday since I finally have free time now. (Woohoo Finally unemployed)
I put the cars on stands, pulled the wheels and cleaned theminside and out. Then cleanded the brake calipers, scuffed them up and threw another coat of paint on them. I hade 1-2 chips in them. Then gave the car a halfassed wash, and half assed washed the wife's car.
Planning to rewash, and start claying, then throwing a few coats of zaino on tomorrow/monday.

I've thought about leaving the car in the campus parking deck since it's starting to snow here but necessity told me otherwise. Drove home in the slush, drove right by a salt truck that pelted my car, and now there is ice that's completely stuck to the spoiler from not cleaning it off.
The life of a college student can be depressing at times haha
Drive it everyday. Just drove it to and from work in knee deep snow while drifting around SUVs and Grand Am's that were parked (stuck?) on the sides of the road. It's fun. Kinda hard to get anything else when all the money goes to the Camaro. I'd take my old Honda bike if it ran but I don't think it'd do all that well.
soooo happy i have a garage.... the most i do is discon. the battery. if there is a perfect day that is sunny and 60 and no snow on the ground i will take her out. doesn't happen much. but then again even in the summer she only came out ever few weeks.
I pulled my car out for the first time since august...
got home and walked inside and said "mom, it looks like some ******* has been doing burnouts in or driveway!"
:p
