So it has snowed like a foot and a half here and it sucks. I dd my convertible and have now missed a day of work because i wasn't smart enough to get snowies prior to the snowfall.
question is. right now i have 215/60/r16 tires on my car. My g/f's sister has some snow tires that are 225/70/r16 she isn't using and will sell to me. seriously I need them for about 15 days per year because that is about the most amount of snow we get. I probably won't take them off until the winter ends though. are these tires ok for my car or do i have to shell out 1000 bucks to get 215/60/r16 snow tires i will hardly ever use? probably should have posted this in a different area. and if it matters my rims are still stock on my 99 firebird.
