Bib, I'm pasting it here for you.

as some of you guys know that my wife is 8 months pregnant. well we're getting close to crunch time and things have been just going horrid right now.

rewind to last tuesday, we're on our way to her birthing classes (she's doing natrual birth,no drugs) weather is bad and we're on our way there and the theromstat on the t/a goes. so it overheated leaving us on the side of the road. got it home after a few hours (theres a thread in the ltx section so i wont go much into this)

fast forward to sunday. im getting ready to fall alseep at about 1:30am. i get a call from her at work (she works for buffalo wild wings as a assistant general manager) she's freaking out because she's getting sharp pains like contractions. so i get out in the cold, haul *** to her job and sit with her and bring her home since by this time its 3am. we go to the hospital first thing in the morning. everything comes back fine. but her boss was being a total **** bag about her not being able to come into work the next day because the doctors told her to chill for the rest of the day. but she has to make the hours she missed up, so she agrees to come in on tuesday night after her classes even though i wasnt a fan of this idea due to the fact she didnt need to be there.

so now we're at tuesday this week. weather is bad again, sleet, ice the works..

we get the to class fine even though weather is bad. after class, i have to drop her off at work because her truck is still up there. i drop her off, go home and hang out.

well, the 24th is her bday so i call her at midnight and tell her happy birthday and that i love her and all that. she tells me that they should be leaving work at 2am'ish. i tell her to call me when she leaves just so i know when she's leaving (because the roads were really bad) she calls me at 2 and says it'll be a little while longer so i say okay, love you, be careful on your way home the roads are slick. i try to fall alseep. i keep waking up here and there, its 3am now, she's not home. 4am still not home, now im worried. about 4:30, i get a phone call and its the local fire department.

at first the paramedic was mumbling, so thought someone was ****ing with me and start to get pissed off. finally he speaks up and says. "hey, is this roger vanbibber?" im like ya. "well, your wife has been in a accident, she seems to be fine, but we're taking her to the emergency room to have her checked out." im instantly freaking out now, i ask how bad of a wreck. he say's not bad but the truck is messed up. i ask him to define bad (since your really cant judge how bad a wreck is with a truck) he said the driver side got hit pretty good. so now im flipping **** asking if she's okay and if the baby is fine.

im on the phone with him for a few more minutes, get the info i need on where she's going, hang up, call my mom and ask her to go with me. (its about 5am at this point.) so i haul some serious *** in moms cobalt, infact, i beat the ****ing ambulance to the hospital! we go to the desk at the ER and they tell us they're unloading her and going to do tests and that we'll have to wait a few minutes. all the while, my wife is freaking out in the ER because nobody tells her that im there so she's thinking ive gotten in a wreck now, because when something is wrong im always the first there. so me and mom are sitting in the ER wait room for a good hour with a bunch of ghetto trash and they finally come out and tell us we can go back. we go back, and find the room she's supposed to be in. and she's not there! so im like WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON !???!!!!!, someone tells us that they just took her to the maternity part of the hospital. so now im on the verge of a ****ing heart attack because i start thinking something is wrong with the baby.

so me and my mom are running thru the hallways trying to find her and by luck we catch her before the nurse gets her on a elevator. she's crying hysterically, so i give her a big hug and try to calm her down while im trying to keep myself from blowing a fuse.

we get to the maternity rooms and they put her on the machines to make sure everything is alright with the baby. which thank god, everything is okay. so my wife tells me what happened and some drunk ****ing ***** tried to pass her and another car on a icey road not 5 mintues from our house, the dumb ***** lost control and smacked into the side of the truck. the ***** and her 2 friends jump out and they're like,"oh its okay, we dont need to call the cops" theyre yelling at my wife and they try to leave the scene. thankfully the other car they passed stopped and called the cops.

now the part that REALLY pisses me off about this, is this drunk *****, causes an accident, smells of booze as do her friends, the cop even notices it. and you know what he does? NOTHING!!!!!!!!! he ****ing lets them go after he gets their info, no subriety test nothing. this moron just hit a car drunk, and the ****ing cop lets her go. im slowly losing faith in the quality of the police force.

the idiot was insured, so i hope she knows she's about to be up **** creek, because not only is she going to be paying for the truck she mangled (ill get pics of it tommorrow) but she'll be paying for all of the hospital stay, loss of wages for both of us missing work, and if anything is physically wrong with my daughter becuase of this, im going to put a bullet in her spine and both of her friends' heads. i mean that with all my heart too. we're calling lawyers and the insurance company tommorrow and friday. this ***** is about to pay.

so ya, my pregnant wife spent her 26th bday in the hospital because of a drunk ****ing idiot and put her and my unborn childs life in danger

Sorry to hear that she had to spend her birthday in the hospital. The thing is, time... we have a lot of it. Luckily you can get the truck repaired...
But lives cannot be replaced. Be thankful that your wife is alright, and that your baby girl appears to be fine.

Just enjoy christmas now. Take the time to be thankful for each other! Its a magical holiday (sounds gay) and it sounds like you have someone you really care about to spend it with, and something you guys have to look forward to.

So merry christmas, you crazy sumb!tch.

we're still working on it now. been a busy week that ended with my great grandma dieing yesterday to top off a already sh*t week. its been hectic around here.
