problem is they could make money selling those parts off that civic, rather then paying to have it crushed...they can put that money towards opening a track up in the area...

hmm....maybe when people don't pay there taxes, or their morgages....maybe we should just take a wrecking ball to there house...that'll teach em....

In the first video, the last person they interviewed didnt even look like he was old enough to drive. Like one kid said, he knew he was going to get caught one day and he very well knew what was going to happen. If crushing what they drive deters them from street racing so be it. Street racing is so dangerous. If you have enough money to make your cars so fast go to a track.

this has to be a joke.. you guys are actually AGAINST impounding cars when people get caught street racing?

i had some computer problems and wasnt here for a few days, did i miss something, is this hondaI4.com now?

seriously guys, if you are caught street racing you should get your license taken away from you for 5 years AND have your car impounded.

too bad darminism usually keeps the idiot street racers and kills some innocent person.

In the HOuston area, they will impound your car and I think they will suspend your lisense for 6 months. Most of the time the driver gets in an accident and gets killed. So much for impounding and suspension.

I kinda agree with that. But ive been tempted to race on the streets. midnight, empty 4 lane street and you get some guy next to you....its hard to resist. And losing you car for that and 5 years without a license?!?!?!? c'mon.

5 years thats ridiculous. Now i cant get to school or my job, so ill just be a drain on society and live off welfare and since im home and cant go any where ill just do drugs to keep me occupied

didnt say impounding the vehicle...I said crushing the vehicle...you cannot destroy someones property just because they broke the law...by that mentality like meaty said...if you steal were back to cutting your hand off...thats not how society works...we have evolved from that...so what makes this right?

Not really. How fast my car is is no mystery that can only be solved by racing some random knucklehead I'll probably never see again. I don't know about you, but I have timeslips that show exactly how fast my car is, to 4 decimal places. Not to mention, I enjoy being able to get around town without relaying on other people to ferry me around..also, cheap insurance rates is a reward I'd rather have, rather than a "kill" over joe blow

Yeah you can, especially considering that two streetracing cars are rolling killing machines, with the speeds they travel at, and the obvious mental impairment of the drivers controlling them

I see a difference in what was going on in those videos and what i do. if i were to pull up next to joe blow at the next red light and give it a go. Ill run someone from redlight to red light on occasion, what im not gonna do is run someone with another person in my car, and im not gonna do it in traffic. In all actuallity, i dont call that street racing. But thats just my oppinion on the matter.

So are serial killers....except unfortunatly capital punishment no longer exists, except in like 2-3 states I believe....

Personally I look at it like this...A person street racing is no more a rolling killing machine then a guy who knowingly has aids and is spreading it sexually...They are quick to crush the car...but they will never cut off that guys ****...Both cause undo harm/death to unsuspecting civilians...

All I am trying to say is, is that we no longer live in a world where you destroy something (legal) because the law has been broken...so why is it all of a sudden right?

what makes it right to do something that is against the law?

impounding a car is nothing like getting your hand chopped off, im sorry.

a car can always be replaced, a hand cannot.

if you dont pay your taxes, you will get kicked out of your house, and they will do a sheriffs sale.. its the same difference, go out and street race and risk someones life, you get your car crushed.

actually, i think they should make the person watch their pride and joy getting crushed in front of their eyes as even more punishment

if you get caught knowingly giving people aids it IS illegal and you CAN go to jail for it.

there is really no way to prove it though unless that person has records of getting a std test.
